What Makes It Awesome

A touch of London street food is now available in the city of joy, that too in the alleys of Kasba. Yes, Appetiso has opened up their second outlet at Kasba after Golpark. It's near Tribarna Bus Stop and is basically a take-away counter. You can also order online and devour these blissful snacks in the comfort of your home. I absolutely loved their good ol' fish and chips which had amazingly fresh fish in there with some improvisations to suit the Bengali palate. Fried fish with mustard sauce was also fabulous to say the least and by the way, that Bengali style mustard sauce or Kasundi was the best of its kind that I had tasted in a long time. If you love to try some veg items then definitely go for their Mushroom Bombs, the stuff had minced mushroom in there with loads of flavor in store. Also I tried the chicken fingers which were pretty tasty and yes, addictive! You can't stop at one. Every item had amazing potato wedges or french fries along with it!

What Could Be Better?

Maybe a small dine-in joint in the near future will do wonders. Also I would love some basic drinks in the menu, maybe some soft drinks to start with.

What's My Pro Tip?

Definitely try their fish items if you are here. And yes, if you are a fried fish lover, this is a must-visit place. You can get some plastic chairs as well to sit and have your food, if you really want to eat the food there itself. And it's a value for money keeping the quality in mind.

Anything Else?

It's not a vast menu, so you won't get confused. And if you are at this place in your car then you can park it right in front of the Appetiso outlet because they offer free parking out there. And if you want a landmark, then I would say this place is quite close to 6BP Thali at Kasba, much before Acropolis Mall if you are approaching from Gariahat.
