It takes a pandemic to become a good samaritan, which is kind of sad. But better late than never. Sanjoy Biswas, along with his small team, are a small self-driven group which is ready for the uphill task.

They have started to feed the family of the poor patients who had come for treatment at the government hospitals of Kolkata and got stuck because of the lockdown. Sanjay and his team started providing lunch to them in front of Bangur Institute of Neurosciences, to 30 people a day.

Following the footsteps of this beautiful initiative, people from SSKM hospital also joined, who have been providing lunch and dinner for the past 23 days to almost 300 people a day now. It is no more restricted to the patients and their familites, but any underprivileged person who is suffering from shortage of food. In addition to all this, they also occassionally conduct sanitation drives in nearby localities.
