The pub-cum-restaurant is the perfect place for some pre-gaming drinking session before heading for a night out.

Trippy Goan Vibes

Club Anonymous is the latest addition to the already busy Southern Avenue strip along the lakes. It is a small, dimly lit place, not too fancy. And it reminded us of some restaurants we’ve seen around the Goan coast with abstract spray painting and graffiti on the walls, colour-blocked window glasses and an overall trippy vibe. If you’re looking for medium-priced cocktails and good food, this is the place to be with a big gang.

It's Wallet-Friendly

The menu here has quite a range of small eats, best if you’re looking for that perfect ‘chakhna’ with your drinks. What we liked is that they have several sumptuous veg options apart from the non-veg fare. We especially loved the veg wontons – crispy inside, soft and chewy inside (INR 195). If you are opting for non-veg, try the fish nuggets with a dip. And if you are a fan of chicken wings, then you will love this place! It has seven varieties – szechwan, buffalo sauce, teriyaki, honey BBQ, fish sauce and Kentucky (INR 190 to 250). Unlike some other places where the salad section only looks good only on the menu card, Club Anonymous has a range of very home-like fresh ones like the prawn salad which had a tasty mayo mix and lots of greens, shredded prawns and slices of cheese cubes. While this place serves all the basic malts and beers like any other bar, the cocktails here are the catch – all of them are just INR 270. Our fav was the chilled Martini Sunset, which has a clever mix of rum, Bacardi white, mango juice, dark cranberry syrup and mango crush.

Anything Else?

We are saving the best for the last! They have happy hours from 2pm to 7pm, where all IMFL drinks are for INR 80 only. If you’re not excited yet, then wait for few more days as they are soon coming up with a Gueridon service (a trolley service where food is flambed and cooked with wine right at your table).
