Kolkata Peeps, There’s A Brand New Waffle Place In Town & It’ll Cure Your Midnight Cravings

Warm, golden, fluffy and super-crunchy waffles; Mumbai-based The Belgian Waffle Co has come to the city and it has us drooling.

Not just pancakes with abs, these waffles are seriously the best in the city. With a crunchy golden exterior and soft and fluffy on the inside, it’s what #wafflegoals are made of. Want to go with the popular options? Blueberry Cream Cheese {yup, you heard it right!} and Naked Nutella have all the kids jumping up and down.

We love the Banana Salted Caramel Waffle – a take on the classic Banoffee, it’s fresh fruit layered with sweet-salty sticky caramel – a riot of texture and flavour! The ice-cream waff-which is a waffle with a generous scoop of ice-cream crammed in the middle – perfect for a more indulgent dessert. You can pick between a regular waffle and a chocolate waffle {in which case there’ll be chocolate in the batter itself!}. For those who like their desserts not-so-sweet, the Dark Chocolate Overload was made for you.

Each waffle is a single portion and comes with a layer of creamy goodness inside. Perfectly packaged, it’s super easy to eat on-the-go. Portion start at INR 93.

You’ll find the little outlet in the lane opposite the main entrance of Forum Mall. So far they’re open till 11:30pm but a little birdie tells us that if they we give them enough love, they’re open to staying open till the wee hours of the morning. Midnight cravings and early-morning pangs will both be satisfied.

Home delivery hasn’t begun yet but *fingers crossed* it should start by October 8.
