I stumbled upon this brand on Facebook and immediately fell in love with their range of home furnishings and accessories.
Based in Uttarakhand, Nomadic Weaves boasts of a bright and colourful range of bedcovers, quilts, dohars, floor coverings, bedsheets, cushions, table covers and platters. All of it is handcrafted sustainably by artisans from across the world. The furnishings are made of cotton, linen, satin, muslin and mulmul with several having kantha embroidery or block printing done on them. The range is simple yet elegant, charming and sophisticated.
I spotted a set of white and golden cushion covers made of satin with embroidered flower motifs and figured it would make for the perfect accessory during festivals or if I have guests over at home. Their colourful table runners and mats can spruce up any dining space while their kantha embroidered bedspreads and soft, hand block printed dohars made of muslin make sure we get a cozy, comfortable sleep at night.
We also loved the platters (spot the fish-shaped ones in ceramic) that are sure to add a decorative touch and stand out at get-togethers and occasions. Got a party at home? We'd recommend the Coral Party Platter ideal to serve snacks or dry fruits or even appetisers like kebabs and stuff.
