Bored of eating ghar ka khaana every day? Well, we know Covid-19 is keeping all of us home but that doesn't mean we can't indulge in some appetising Chinese food from Overdose.
This small eatery located in Desapriya Park serves some of the best Chinese in town and we couldn't resist ordering in. Overdose has a wide selection of Chinese and Tibetan food on offer - from juicy and flavourful momos and sui mai to different varieties of noodles, rice and sides, it has it all.
We ordered Chicken Sui Mai, Veg Spring Rolls and a Veg Lung Fong soup (because sometimes, all you need is a hot bowl of soup to soothe the soul!). The sui mai was so good that we wished we had ordered another plate. The sui mai sheets are as thin as they can be while the spring rolls were crispy and had a good amount of veggies stuffed inside. If you're in the mood for a proper Chinese meal, then we'd suggest you order the Chef Special Mixed Hakka Noodles or the Veg Chilli Garlic Fried Rice. Throw in a side of Devil's Prawns (if you like your food spicy!) or Mushroom Fried in Butter Garlic Sauce and you're all set for a filling lunch.
