What Makes It Awesome
We like buying products made on home turf whenever we can and it was delight to come across Bunataanka's products at a recent pop-up in town. Graphic, stylised, and with a good use of colour, all their products stand out. The fine collection of handcrafted leather products are all made by artisans with utmost attention to detail and impeccable craftsmanship. We loved the shoes and bags sporting distinctive and bold, colourful geometric ikats prints. While the slingbags and wallets are certainly eye-catching, our favourite is the spacious backpack which keeps its shape.
Their range if funky footwear is mostly made up of Indian styles like kolhapuri, mojari and khadau and they use ethnic fabrics like kalamkari, kantha, ikkat and zardozi.
