Poila Boishakh is all ready knocking on our doors and to make it more special, one of Kolkata’s oldest and fave bakeries, Flurys, has decided to come up with a fusion Bengali menu which will help you to kickstart your new year with a good bhuri bhoj!

We can’t keep calm because the Bengali new year is just four days away. So here we are again, giving you more ideas on where to gorge on sumptuous Bengali food, ‘cause we know that the way to a true Bengali’s heart is through her/his stomach!

We’ve just heard that Flurys is rolling out a special Poila Boishakh menu with traditional Bengali recipes served with Flurys’ own little twist. Items like Shorse Macher Paturi Puff and Mocha Choper Puff Roll has already got us salivating.

Because no Bengali finishes a meal without something mishti, they also have a range of delish fusion desserts like Sitabhog Pie to Lavanga Latika Strudel, Mishti Doi Mousse, Mihidana Gateaux and Nolen Gurer Cheesecake.
