Motherland’s clothing line is a celebration of the uniqueness, individuality, and eccentricities of a woman. It celebrates the fearless and free women of today who are constantly breaking societal shackles and aren’t afraid to accept and embrace their flaws. Inspired by the Classic French Capsule wardrobe, the range features clothes handcrafted sustainably using traditional Indian methods and natural and breathable fabrics.
The clothes are ideal for women across age groups and body size and are designed to sort you out for all kinds of occasions - work, charity event, solo trip, romantic getaway, parties, dinner, brunch, and more. The collection includes dresses, kaftans, co-ord sets, jumpsuits, suit sets, shirts, tops, pants, and coats made of silk, khadi, organza, and cotton fabrics.
The jewellery is inspired by the Art Deco school of design (think old buildings in South Mumbai neighbourhoods, the beautiful Parisian balconies, or iconic New York skyscrapers!). The earrings, rings, neck pieces, and bracelets are handcrafted and characterised by typical art deco features like grids, clean lines, and geometric forms.
