If you're a sucker for all things opulent and willing to give your home a royal revamp, head to SLight at Park Centre and check out their collection of luxurious chandeliers, mirror lights, concealed fans and hanging lights, all procured from overseas.
Spread across three sections on the ground floor of Park Centre, the shop literally looked like a mini version of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali set with humongous and gorgeous hanging lights and chandeliers lighting up the interiors. They have an admirable collection of chandeliers, in variety of shapes, colours and designs, mostly procured from Italy and Spain. They also have customised versions of chandeliers, so mix and match the design of one and colour of another to add that extra regal touch to your living room. Check out their antique and modern versions (read super sleek) of table lights, mirror lights, spotlights and wall brackets.
Ever heard of designer fans? We're suspecting like us you'll too are stuck with Khaitan and Usha. This shop has a luxurious range of fans, imported from Australia, Spain and Germany, that look graceful, elegant, and funky as per the interiors of the room. Wait there's variety as well - feather, wave, atom, twinz, crystal, saturn, and, rodeo. Go figure out what they really are when you get there. Rest assured they're super cool!
Considering the opulent collection here, the price is equally opulent! The chandeliers range anywhere between INR 10,000 and INR 1 lakh. The smaller lights start from INR 3500 and go up to... we are unable to count the zeros, so better visit the store to learn more. The fans too range between INR 19,000 and INR 2 lakh. And even at that price, no they won't emanate cool air, you still have to buy an AC to fight the Kolkata summers!
