Why?
Well I tried something different, a cuisine that was completely unknown to me.
⏺️BOHRI cuisine ⏺️
It's a fusion of Egyptian and Persian food culture. Found it interesting enough to try the platter and surprisingly it was really good!
#Food ordered:
Chicken masoor pulao. It's a wholesome meal, that your body appreciates, the ones that help you stay healthy. It's a combination of masoor and rice. It comes with Sarki(made of sattu,dahi). To get a better taste you must have the pulao with Sarki.
*Apparently we were their last customer as the place is getting demolished.*
Sad!
They'll be back hopefully :)
SALT is the only restaurant in Kolkata to serve this cuisine btw.
Complimentary halwa was a sweet gesture on their behalf.
