Kolkata peeps! Rejoice! Because our favourite Nepalese restaurant, The Blue Poppy - Thakali, has finally begun delivering and we can hardly control our excitement. We're sure you can't too. How much we've missed the famous momos from this place! Well, not anymore.
The restaurant has come up with a special lockdown menu that includes momos, phalays, soups, starters, mains, Nepali curries along with different varieties of noodles and rice. So, go all out and order the steamed, kothay, fried or pan-fried momos available in vegetable, corn and cheese, plain aloo and cheese and mushroom and cheese as well as chicken and pork varieties. They've also got thukpas, thenthuk, datsis and shaptas on offer too!
Keep it light with the Sadheyko War Wai, Keema Dry Wai Wai, Chilli Butter Pork or Prawn Chips. Opt for their mains if you're in for a proper lunch or dinner, order the Devil's or Kimchi fried rice along with Keema Chow or Pan-Fried Noodles. Throw in a side dish (veg, chicken or pork) and you're all set for a gastronomical meal like no other.
