What Is It?

Dunno if anyone remembers the days when our grandmas always had row upon row of jarred vegetables and fruits on kitchen shelves. Home canning and freezing are catching on again, as more people discover the joys. At this workshop, you will get to learn the tools and techniques to preserve seasonal produce so you can enjoy them for months to come.

Want to learn some of the basics of the French cuisine? Chef Vanshika is trained in French cuisine and guess what, she is all set to demonstrate some vegetarian and one-pot recipes of famous French sauces. Aspiring chefs, are you excited yet?

Who Is It For?

If you love cooking, and want to get some basic lessons on jams and preserves and basic French sauces, then you probably should not miss out on a workshop. Oh, and did we mention she graduated from Le Cordon Bleu?

Why Should I Go?

Here’s what is on the chef’s lesson plan: Pomegranate and pineapple sugar-free jams, watermelon rind (with sugar), and homemade mustard. She’ll also demonstrate how to whip up French mother sauces. Think parmesan and garlic velouté, beet espagnole and classic bechamel!
