What Makes It Awesome

If your inner soul continuously looks for tranquillity, then head to this vintage café - Bombay Coffee House {BCH}. Located in the secluded lanes of Ballard Estate, this café serves all-day breakfast, quick bites, all day meals, accompaniments and of course their patent drinks - tea & coffee with free Wi-Fi.

Bombay Coffee House is one place to retain the yesteryear name Bombay that connects you emotionally to the good old days. The place is spacious and well built with white and black marble flooring, slow-moving ceiling fans, and elementary wooden furniture. During the day, the natural light makes it more rustic and pleasing. Photo frames on the walls with rare pictures of old Mumbai enhance the ambience {all in black & white}. The base floor is best suited for long conversations while the 1st floor is for anything & everything.

Bombay Coffee House has a promising menu with one page dedicated to Parsi cuisine. It’s a must-visit destination for tea & coffee lovers for a variety of options to sip on some hot piping drinks. Try their Teekha Coffee – the only place to serve cappuccino with a punch of chilli to make it spicy and hot.

Chicken Cous Cous Salad – made up of tomato, couscous herbs, broccoli and chicken with a pinch of lemon juice that makes the salad flavoursome and appetising.

BCH Fried Chicken Burger– crispy fried chicken stuffed between two soft pieces of bread and one burger like this will make your day.

Mutton Cutlet – crunchy and breakable mutton cutlet made up of minced mutton, bread crumbs, and spices.

Grilled Chicken Steak – grilled chicken topped with creamy spinach and mushroom sauce served with garlic bread,

Lagan Nu Custard – an iconic dish of the Parsis and a rich dessert made up of custard. It's delicious and no one can eat just one.

There are plenty dessert options like banana walnut cake, chocolate pie, creme brulee etc.

Bombay Coffee House {BCH} is simple yet beautiful and what drives me here is the value for money. They have a dedicated bookshelf and some artefacts that make it a classic spot for socialising.
