We strolled along the Western Line and found Bandra station to be quite endearing with the spread of options it offers. Bandra Station is a treasure trove for anybody who like spending wisely on food. The more affordable part of Bandra, we’d say.

Bombay Burgers

This small eatery is sandwiched between xerox shops and the hectic life around the station. Serving affordable burgers, it attracts the college crowd and young executives. We had their Mexican burger {INR 85} and were seen contemplating dinner scenes.

Chunkies

This lies right besides Bombay Burgers and gives an international fried chicken joint a run for its money. Try the chicken wings and the lollipops here.
P.S. The counter is too hot, so it’s best to place your order and stand on the sidewalk.

Anand Dosa Centre

A humble South Indian joint, it serves butter cheese masala dosa {INR 60}, medu wada {INR 25}, Jain uttapam {INR 40} and more. Essentially, the menu is full of butter dishes, so beware if you’re on a diet.

Chinese Bhel

This small, unnamed stall just opposite Anand Dosa is a college students’ favourite, You’ll often see them huddled around with paper plates and plastic spoons, trying to grab a quick bite before they catch the local. It’ll cost you INR 10 upwards.

Kunj Vihar

The vada pav giant on the station road, Kunj Vihar is great for a quick bite, specially if you’re late for work. They take 2 minutes to put together what may be the most efficient snack in the city and you’re good to go. Starting at INR 12, they also serve lassi.

Yaadgar Cold Drink House

The famous falooda joint right before the station, Yaadgar Cold Drink House is where you’ll find train commuters cooling off a bit. At INR 50, they will sort you out for a battle with the city heat. Their ice cream falooda comes for INR 40.

Khichda Stall

The classic Mughlai dish also prepared during eid, Khichda {mutton, dal and spices} is one of pur favourite go-to snacks {or a full meal}. This stall besides Yaadgar Cold Drink House sells delicious plates of this culinary wonder of a dish. Half a plate will cost you INR 30, a full plate, INR 60. Do try out the biryani here as well.

Tip: Go towards the evening here, chances are, it might not be there during afternoon. Ask Yaadgar Cold Drick House for the khichda stall in case you can’t find it.
