Love honey? We sure do! Keeping in tune with our sensibilities is a bee keeper's weekend certified crash-course in Nashik at an organic bee farm that will teach you the basics and pretty much all you need to know about this fun hobby.
If you're an organic farmer, student or just an avid fan of bees and honey in general, this course is perfect. Each training batch has 5 trainees and the duration of the program is 3 days.
You'll get to learn the theory behind beekeeping and your practical classes will involve a field visit to an organic bee farm, pollination and hive inspection, honey extraction, wax collection and getting to see the queen bee and her cell.
The only thing you need to need to be careful of is that once you register, they will wait till the batch is full for you to get started. There are two dates they're doing this on, the first is for this weekend (May 17 - May 20) and the other is for the coming weekend (May 24 - May 27).
The price per person is INR 4,000 and that does not include food and stay. It will include all the activities that take place from 10 AM to 5 PM for those three days. Have a bee-utiful weekend!
