Ten-Second Takeaway

We threw ourselves a challenge, and kept a budget of INR 10,000 to score some really cute stuff at the Infiniti Mall in Andheri West. Did we conquer it? Read on.

Accessorize

Our favourite UK brand, Accessorize {on the ground floor} always comes out with some of the best bags, jewellery and the scarves. Though we do need to have deep pockets to really splurge here, but we did manage finding two things that fit our budget and well, not a waste of money.

We picked up a chic choker with white small pearl linings for INR 545 – perfect for the night outs. While browsing around, we also came across a really cute handmade book {and we’re always a sucker for those}. For INR 1,345 we set ourselves back by INR 1,890 but still loads to spend on.

Still to go: INR 8,110

Global Desi

Next stop on the ground floor itself, we decided to take a round. Infiniti Mall doesn’t have too many brands per say though, they are quite a limited lot, as the second floor mainly hosts eateries and the food court.

We decided to stop by Global Desi thanks to the enticing prints on display, and took a look around. We loved almost everything but since we were on a budget, we held ourselves back. We did, however, pick a beautiful handcrafted bag for INR 595. It’s bright, big enough to hold our regular utilities and so very pretty.

Still to go: INR 7,515

Promod

This chic French brand that caters to men’s and women’s clothing was the next one on our list. We weren’t entirely impressed with the collection, though we did set our hearts on two things here.

For our good days, we picked up a pair of Promod shoes for INR 1690 with its monochrome patchwork and its black overalls. At the same place, we also tried out an office cum I’m-on-a-brunch-by-myself kind of dress. With its black and orange combination, this mid-length dress set us back by another INR 2,990.

Still To Go: INR 2,835

Only

Though we decided to go and check out the second floor, there weren’t too many brands there apart from Westside. Back to the ground floor, we stepped into Only. Now Only definitely screams expensive, and after browsing around the dress section, we almost gave in.

But we did manage to pick up a really cute oink tee mainly for the adorable cat on it. For INR 799, we had a fun tee to wear to work {and fetch cat compliments}.

Still To go: INR 2,036

So, We're Saying...

We did venture into Westside for a while. However, rather than spending the remaining 2k, we decided we’ll put this up in our savings for the next mall challenge.
