Take The Plunge: Plan A Getaway To Devkund Waterfall This Weekend!

What's Happening

When was the last time you planned that spontaneous getaway with your buddies to a lesser-known destination and made the most out of it? If you can't remember, its time you change that. Carvan Trips, a local travel company that believes in helping you take the road not taken before, is organizing a trip to Devkund waterfalls, a hidden gem around 130 kilometers away from the bustling Mumbai life, and you must add this in your list of to-dos.

Jump into the clear waters of Devkund, camp by the pond, warm yourself up near the bonfire when the nights get cold, enjoy a barbecue, along with a scrumptious meal (vegetarian/non-vegetarian) indulge in a story-telling session with fellow travelers, and sleep inside your cozy tents. The next morning will be about waking up to nature's pristine beauty, hiking through a jungle surrounded by majestic mountains, and taking a dip at Devkund.

If the adrenaline rush in you tells you to do something offbeat, you must listen to it. Let the upcoming Saturday be about adventures that get the best out of you.

How's The Venue

Devkund waterfall is located in the Raigad district of the state, and is said to be the confluence of three different waterfalls, and the origin of Kundalika river. It is also known as the 'plunge' waterfall, pouring massive amounts of water at the rocky surface underneath.

Make A Note

Your meeting point will be the Bhira Power Plant in the Raigad district. If you're a biking enthusiast, biking your way through the location is a good idea. Wear proper trekking shoes, and comfortable clothing, for the best experience. And sign up for this only if you're fit enough.
