Musician Donn Bhat is having his first gig after the release of his new album at antiSOCIAL on the evening of October 7.
Who Is It For?
For those who enjoy music that avoids easy classification. Bhat's second album, Passenger Revelator, which was released in 2014, was a blend of disco, pop, funk rock and electronica. Now, his third album is continuing this tradition, as well as working with his favourite collaborators and long-time friends like vocalist Toymob aka Ashhar Farooqui, percussionist Anand Bhagat and Indian classical musician and sarangi player Suhail Yusuf Khan
Why Should I Go?
We love gigs at antiSOCIAL. It's a great venue with affordable alcohol and entry fees for its frequent gigs in the basement. We also love Bhat's music, which is an exploration between electronica and acoustic instruments combined with lyrical song-writing.
