What Is It?


A very desi take on a bar,it has bare walls balanced by colourful seating. We even spotted a projector. If you’ve always been a fan of drinking at local bars but don’t end up doing so, head to Thekka – a modern {and safe} take on the concept of the local watering hole.

With unique dishes ranging from tedha pizza to quirky chakna, like chana chor garam, masala peanuts, spicy corn masala, moong dal chat {INR 149} and assorted fryums {INR 99}. Give their sriracha chilli chicken at INR 269, schezwan tandoori chicken at INR 249 and murg nachos at INR 269 a try.

You can also go local with misal pao at INR 129, bhajiya pao at INR 99, anda ghotala or soya matar keema at INR 179.

Their ‘theka tails’ look interesting with Patiala chai {masala chai, vodka, Cointreau and Baileys Irish cream), sharabi lassi {mango lassi with a twist}, kachumber cooler {cucumber, coriander, chilly, gin}, imli margarita {tamarind, tequila, ginger ale}, masala Peru–tini {Peru pulp, martini, Bacardi, red chilly, pudina}, khatta monk {old monk with kala khatta} and achari caipiroska,starting at INR 189.

If you’re not a big fan of experimenting, go for their classics, starting at INR 269 and beer starting at INR 119.
