I love a brand that does upcycling right. And with Workshop Q, it looks like I stumbled across one that definitely hits the mark. A key concept that goes into each of their designs are sustainability which means that the materials they use are environmentally sound, they believe in fair working conditions and even manufacturing is ecologically conscious. Now that's something we can get behind! Not just that, but if you have a look at their products, it's evident that they are big-time into upcycling as a philosophy, which means that they believe in converting waste or useless products into something of value.
Founded by two sisters, Radhika and Madhvi, the brand's slogan Reuse, Upcycle, Create pretty much encompasses their philosophy. And while browsing the site, I came across so many products that i'd be excited to purchase, either for myself or as a gift. Quirky clocks made from old vinyls and salvaged wood, photo frames in cardboard, bamboo weaving, old keys (!) and even tyres, desk accessories from old machine parts, coasters from motherboards...you get the drift. Their collection just screams funky. We also spotted tissue boxes, lamps and trays here.
