Shortcut

Ek Plate app is the newest app in town that lets you connect to the local street food vendors aka your favourite pav bhaji bhaiyya in a more streamlined manner.

How Does It Work?

Ek Plate App is a Mumbai-based app that has been developed with an aim of connecting foodies to their favourite local street food stalls and vendors. The idea behind the app was to put a name to the zillion stalls and those street food corners one comes across and make it available on the app for people to see and enjoy. As of now, they have over 7,500 vendors listed on Ek Plate as reported by Midday. To summarise the app in a nutshell, it’s a great way for people to find the best of the street food near themselves, or even upload photos and information about a street stall you’ve stumbled upon. Forget about that amazing golgappa guy near Mahim circle? It maybe on the App.

All you need to do is download the app {it is available on iOS and android}. Once you sign up with the app, it shows you the vendors near your locality and the kind of dishes that are out there {albeit the photos uploaded by other users}.

What We Love

The app is free to download, super user-friendly and a saviour for people who’re always on the lookout for amazing street food. You can even filter the search by vegetarian or the non-vegetarian option and the feed will be customised according to your choice.
