We tracked down Omkar Amrite, an advertising professional by the day and cool lamp maker by night after we spotted a cassette lamp made by him. He makes them in two sizes – 1 ft {INR 1,700} and 4 ft. {INR 7,000}. So, if you want a tower of nostalgia in your room, call him up and order. He says he can make a lamp out of pretty much everything. Think a cheese grater can be turned into one? Brainstorm with him and he might get it done.
