A little piece of West Bengal exists in Mumbai. Called Dorje Doma Designs, it’s a charming little store in Colaba, right next to The Table and here’s why you need to check it out.

Previously called Kalimpong Art House, Dorje Doma Designs is run by  Zenden Lama Nair & her father Pritam Lama. Zenden deals with customised interiors and decor. An extension of Kalimpong Art Gallery in Breach Candy, this shop houses bags, cushions, posters, pop art illustrations, coasters and more. We drooled over the beautiful teapots, scarves and clutches that lined the shelves here. They also have pretty coasters for your drinks to sit prettier on. While the coasters are priced INR 200 upwards and bags are priced INR 600 upwards, the prayer scrolls can be purchased for INR 150 here.
