Keep The Books Aside: You Can Read A Human Instead At This Event In Mumbai

Jayati posted on 4th August

Ten-Second Takeaway

‘Living Stories’ is a series by antiSOCIAL that borrows from the concept of Human Library. The first volume is happening on September 1, and the theme is mental health.

Read Somebody

If talking is not your game and you’d rather observe, this is where you should be. Here, you’re the listener, and you hear someone’s deepest thoughts and their personal journey in an uninterrupted manner. ‘The Living Stories’ aims to create exactly that kind of a space, where deeply personal stories are shared and everything is off-the-record. Though you can also interact with them here, and ask questions if there’s something you need to know.

Every volume from the series will feature a different theme, and will be curated accordingly.

What We Love

The first volume touches upon mental health, a relevant topic in today’s day and age.

At the event, you get three slots each. You can choose/show interest in the book {your human} that you’d like to read. Just like in a library, you’ll see the title and the subtitle of your human book at this event. The people who will be your books come from a personal space of dealing with mental health issues. Issues like social anxiety, bipolar disorder, and so on will be talked about, and experiences will be shared. In fact, some mental health care professionals will be books too.

So, We're Saying...

You need to RSVP for the event and the price of INR 300 is payable at the door. This will give you three slots. In case you want to read more books, you can purchase the time to read them.

RSVP here.
