Visited Tuskers for the Mewar to Marwar food festival which was a thorough Rajasthani fare curated by two home chefs who came down from their respective cities.
We started with a Thandai which was perfectly spiced.
For appetizers, we had Lilva kebab, paneer and mirchi case. The kebab was well balanced made with green vegetables. The paneer was excellent. Soft and very fresh. Loved it. The mirchi vada was different from the usual ones. Stuffed with Dal and coated with besan powder.
Coming to mains, we tried the Raw banana lotus root kofta, Shahi gatta and Papad sorts of a sabji with panchamel dal, Gatta pulav and Lacha paratha. Everything was delicious. Loved the kofta and gatta pulav most.
Ended the meal with Gundar pak, Badam halwa and Bajra halwa. Loved the badam mung dal halwa. All three were a little too sweet for me but really good.
Overall a lovely experience at the festival.
