Mumbai Gets Its First Military-Themed Lounge & Here's Why You Need To Go

Outpost, situated in Malad, is your hideout zone for all things military, drinks and food. It’s a tradition to drink every night and talk to your fellow troop members in the military, so now, it’s time to follow the tradition and enjoy some great food and drinks at this new lounge {we’re pumped!}

You’ll find a mix of different cuisines here, with Italian {pastas and pizzas} and Indian {achari paneer tikka and cheese chaska} taking the lead. Try the tawa specials – pomfret tawa fry and prawns tawa fry.

They also have a menu titled the ‘Invasion from the East’ which serves chicken burnt garlic in oyster sauce, crispy cottage cheese Thai chilli and chilly basil fish.

Mexican lovers can gorge on Mexican fish-n-chips and Mexican quesadillas. If you’re not in the mood to eat heavy, there are a variety of salads and soups to keep you going.

Don’t forget to gorge on Colonel Singh ka manpasand platter! Other dishes on the menu include rolls to the rescue, fauji ki haat ki daal, the Battle Of The Sauces which are sure to entice the trooper in you!

The range of cocktails are pretty exciting. Bailey’s lovers should ask for the B – 52 Bomber. Other specials include greased bullet, restless civilian, punch out, margarita in the camp, bull-et proof vest and the recruit/coast guarde Breezer twist.

The cocktails range from INR 279 – INR 699.

They open on March 30 so be sure to head out there for your fill of all things fauji! And if you do head there on opening day, you have beer for INR 130 and whiskey for INR 100 as the opening offer {just for that day!}
