We’ll start with stating that Misal Samrat at Sion East is amazing. The specialty of the food joint is that it provides 10 varieties of misal – from spicy Kolhapuri to Puneri misal and many more {including a Jain menu} there’s so much to choose from over here. The best part is its taste and quantity, both of which come at affordable prices.

We went to this eatery exactly a month ago which also happened to be the opening and we’re convinced that this misal tastes different from any other served in Mumbai. The joint is small but has a good decor and the misal is served on a bamboo tables which gives the decor an aesthetic look. There are also nice, bright lights hanging on top. The eatery can accommodate up to 15 people, so if you’re a large group, go at at time when the place is less crowded.
