Furtados

Furtados is possibly one of the most iconic music stores in the country. In fact, Furtados in Kalbadevi is almost 150 years old, with its other outlets spread across Mumbai  which are owned by the Gomes Family (from Goa) since 1959. A musician’s paradise with its diverse collection of guitars, drum kits, amps, and even sound books, one can easily spend a quality afternoon here going through all that they have to offer. BAJAAO, Andheri East

BAJAAO has been a boon to the music community in Mumbai {and the rest of the country} with their efficient and well-stocked e-retail website, as well as the offline store in Andheri East. Bajaao was started off by Ashutosh Pande back in 2005, and ever since, they have only expanded. Bhargava’s Musik in Bandra West is also one of the oldest musical instruments chain stores in the city. Known for an invested staff that maintain solid relations with their customers, trust us when we say go here. Especially when you’re starting out and are looking to buy your first ever instrument. They will guide you well and show you the options at hand (depending on your interests and requirements).

They deal in all sorts of musical instruments-guitar (bass, acoustic, electric), ukulele, keyboards and piano, drums, and even the classic instruments like sitar and dilruba. The prices are budget-friendly and they have an excellent maintenance service once you purchase a product.


S.B. Music, Malad West
