Cannot Deal! Cigarettes After Sex Are Set To Perform At Bacardi NH7 Weekender In Pune

The happiest music festival of all, Bacardi NH7 Weekender is back this year and they have also released their line-up for Pune. If you still haven’t booked your ticket yet, get your pass to a land full of music, funky clothes and colourful buntings as far as the eye can see.

Bacardi NH7 Weekender is back with a bang, with its multi-city tour across the country. Organised by Only Much Louder {OML} the festival features some of the biggest bands from the country, upcoming indie musicians and a few international acts. And they have announced that American pop band from Texas, Cigarettes After Sex will be performing at the festival, and we genuinely cannot deal.

The festival will happen in Pune and Meghalaya, with the rest of the cities getting the Express version. The dates for Pune are from December 8 to December 10, and Meghalaya will happen on October 27 and October 28.

Now for the lineup: there’s going to be film and music director, Vishal Bhardwaj; New Jersey-based band, The Dillinger Escape Plan among others. Dutch progressive band, Textures will also be performing at the happiest music festival apart from Vir Das’s Alien Chutney, Prateek Kuhad, The Raghu Dixit Project, The Ram Sampath Experience, Blackstratblues All Stars {they’ll be touring their new album}, Indian Ocean, and more.

Apart from this, Mumbai-based artists, Ankur Ghalat & Family, Aswekeepsearching, Aditi Ramesh, Short Round Music, Kumail, Zokovo, Zygnema, Easy Wanderlings, Sid Vashi will also be there. You can check out the entire lineup here.

The Pune lineup is amazing – artists and bands we were kind of pinning our hopes on are there, and after the announcement of Cigarettes After Sex performing at the festival, we are ecstatic. The festival is all set for December 8, 9 and 10 – and we honestly cannot wait. The tickets are currently priced at INR 2,000 and upward.
