Order In From These Joints To Cherish Those Mohammed Ali Road Memories

The information in this post might be outdated

It's the time of the year again for fasting and feasting - we're talking about Ramzan, folks. We can’t wait to munch the mouth-watering preparations so typical to this time. If you’re craving kebabs, nihari and jalebi with rabdi combinations just like us, but can't go to Mohammad Ali Road, we have got a list of other feasting joints you can order from.

Persian Darbar, Multilpe Outlets

Another great option to consider when ordering during this festive season. While they've got tons of appetizers and main course options - we'd say directly dig into their wholesome platters for a great feast. They've got two platters for vegetarians and non-vegetarians respectively. These platters are huge. For instance, in the non-vegetarian platter expect 1 plate gosht Lucknowi seekh kebab, 1 plate murgh dilkhush tikka, 1 plate special chicken mix tikka and 1 plate special gosht mix kebab. Okay, that's a lot of food.

#LBBTip: They've got a few dishes which are made specially in the clay over including chicken tandoori, murgh darbari and many more.  Keep some space for those! They are offering 24/7 delivery even in lockdown.

Mini Delhi, Bhendi Bazaar

Order in food from Mini Delhi for a hearty meal. Spoiler alert: these guys are going to spoil you for choice. From flavourful tandooris to heart kebabs and from shawarmas to Arabic kebsa, they won't disappoint you. Whether it's the pricing, quality and taste.

Lucky Restaurant, Bandra

Not looking for a heavy meal? This joint in Bandra might interest you. We'd say go for their tandoors and kebabs. Choose from their garlic kebabs, paneer tikka, chicken kali mirchi kebab, Irani kebab and Reshmi kebab. For main course, you can opt for their mutton kheema biryani, shahi chicken or kadai paneer.

#LBBTip: Their Chicken Tangdi kebab and Mutton/Chicken Biryani are their bestsellers. So don't forget to add that to your cart.

Sigdi, Andheri & Bandra

More of a late-night munching place, Sigdi in Bandra is best known for its rolls, kebabs and platter. If you're craving some Biryani, their Hyderabadi dum biryani is worth to die for. End the meal with the iconic Ramadan desserts including malai phirni and caramel custard.

#LBBTip: They deliver only after 5:30.

Bademiya, Fort

It doesn't get any more iconic than Bademiya. This joint has earned a stellar rep for its rolls. But it's not just about rolls here, they also have heartier options to choose from like Biryani and their melt-in-the-mouth kebabs.

#LBBTip: They deliver till 3AM

The Bohri Kitchen

For Bohri specials, order in from The Bohri Kitchen, known for their home-style Bohri food. We recommend trying their mutton samosas, raan, dabba gosht, nalli nihari, and their kebab platter. You can place your order on Whatsapp and they deliver all over Mumbai. Orders need to be pre-ordered.

#LBBTip: Pre-order your meal, they have a minimum 1/2 kg order. They deliver across Mumbai.

Noor Mohammadi

Another Mohammad Ali Road staple, Noor Mohammadi is famous for its fall-off-the-bone nalli nihari, a rich gravy with bone marrow and meat. The white biryani, shami kebabs and daal gosht also come highly recommended.

#LBBTip: Bollywood fans, order their famous Chicken Sanju Baba.
