You'll spot this shop right opposite the Bata showroom in Colaba. Called Parvati Villa, this designer boutique is all about tribal-themed jewellery, minimalist clothing and women empowerment. It was founded by Ileshaa Khatau to celebrate women's inner strength around the world, and here's what we love about the boutique.
They mainly have two things on offer- designer jewellery and ethnic Indian wear. Every product in the store is neatly organised which makes scanning through every product a breeze. You'll find a lot of hints of Goddess Parvati around the store. We loved the huge idol at the center or her Trishula (weapon) being used to hang accessories. The jewellery includes fine neck Indo-western neck pieces in gold, silver and bronze. These are good to go with Indian as well as your western outfits. For those who love junk or tribal-themed accessories, this is where you need to be. There are even couple of necklaces with have 'trishula' as the pendant. Also, every piece of jewellery is handmade and crafted by local artisans in India. Coming to their clothing collection. If you love subtle colours without much drama, you'll love their collection. Think white, light blue, peach, lemon yellow and more. Apart from Indian kurtis, they've even got some amazing summery dresses which are apt for Sunday brunches.
Every collection in their store resonates multiple roles played by a women including independent mother, a devoted mother or a fearless fighter. Popular actress and a female rights supporter, Kalki too was seen wearing their Shakti collection. The boutique has some offbeat designs and ideas that will make you stand out. So, we're saying, get your inner devi out and pair your outfits with these bold accessories.
Shell Out: Their collection starts from INR 1,000.
