What Is It?

Have you heard of the Robin Hood Army? It’s a voluntary troop of people who take to the streets to battle hunger and distribute leftover food to those who need it. This Independence Day, The Robin Hood Army is gathering its forces to serve food to 1 million people in India and Pakistan together, and you can join them and help them achieve this mission by becoming a volunteer.

Who Is It For?

If you want to make a difference in the real sense of the meaning, this is the best way to do it. The results of taking part in #Mission1Million are immediately tangible, and the efforts will not be wasted.

Why Should I Go?

The plan is to distribute food to the homeless, orphanages, old age homes, patients from hospitals and more, and all the logistics are being covered by companies such as Uber, Zomato and PayTM.

They are not asking for any funds or donations for the event, just hands to help in distributing the food to as many people as possible.

So How Do I Participate?

The distribution will take place across pockets in the country including Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore and Pune on August 14 and 15, and to volunteer, just contact them on the FB page here.

Spread the word and get involved.
