Whilst at dinner, we tried the bread with olive oil and balsamic as a starter. Following that, an entree of deep fried assorted seafood which consisted of Fresh Bombay duck, juicy calamari, yummy prawns and more, all deliciously seasoned with the well-balanced accompaniments like pesto mayonnaise and spicy pomadoro.

The soup was a green peas veloute with Foccacia Garlic bread and Fresh Crabmeat was a palette cleanser with its fresh flavors.

The Pizza-Frutti de Mare consisted of a tomato-based pizza sauce with calamari, prawns, olives, fresh herbs infused authentic flavors into the sauce.

The main dish, the Grilled Himalayan trout was served with asparagus and market vegetables, glazed and herbed. The savory taste of the Caper Berry sauce breaks the tart of the sauce complementing the perfectly grilled trout. The Pan-seared pomfret fillet was a burst of flavors with its citrusy notes and Italian lemon beurre blanc notes. This perfect meal was finished on a high note with an orange creme brulee. Every element retained the core of the festival to serve fresh, zingy and zesty elements.

Emperor’s Court is displaying an array of freshly caught fish, lobsters and crab from local vendors every day which will be appetizingly displayed in a market style wooden cart right outside the restaurant. The restaurant also serves the regional Cantonese and Sichuan delicacies alongside the serene beauty of Powai Lake.
