What Is It?

Been planning a trip to Singapore? Let the Lion City come to you! Singapore Tourism Board is bringing a taste of Singapore’s vibrant culture to the city and it’s looking amazing. Taking their cultural and artistic side to the next level, they’ve collaborated with our favourite St+art India to transform the walls of Mumbai’s oldest dock into a beautiful canvas!  

This weekend, Sassoon Docks will see artworks by Singaporean artists, a zine festival, screen printing workshop, photography exhibition, film screenings and dance battles. And did we mention epic dishes by Singapore’s Chef Bjorn Shen at Anti Social, Khar? It’s all about ‘Passion Made Possible’ with Singapore Weekender!

Everyone from foodies, collectors, explorers and art enthusiasts to anyone who is looking to do something different over the weekend. Whether you’re into photography, art, filmmaking or dance – there’s something to experience for every creative soul.

Why Should I Go For It?

Trust us, if you love art, culture, dance and delectable food, this weekend is everything you’ve been waiting for! Here’s a lowdown of things to do over these three days:

November 17  – Head over to antiSOCIAL for an epic DJ Night as Singaporean turntable DJ KoFlow brings the house down with some kickass tunes. Bringing the best of Singapore’s cuisine, Singaporean chef Bjorn Shen has collaborated with Anti-Social’s head chef, Gresham Fernandes for an exclusive and limited edition Singaporean Menu {A MUST TRY}

November 18 – Head over to the Sassoon Docks and experience art come to life with the stunning installation by renowned artist Tan Zi Xi and installations and murals by The Yok and Sheryo. Their passion for their work is something to look out for while you soak in the festive vibes at every nook of the area. The day will be packed with uber cool workshops which include a Street Art workshop by The Yok and Sheryo and a Screenprinting Workshop by Knuckles and Notch.

Explore the world of zines at this two-day Zine Festival by Knuckles & Notch and Bombay Underground as they showcase their best work out there! Not just that, treat yourself to an exhibition by photographer Darren Soh and film screenings by Objectifs Centre for Film and Photography.

November 19 – Apart from enjoying the Zine Festival and exhibitions, there’s a bunch of other exciting events lined up for the last day! For dance lovers, there is an exciting B-boy battle that will be judged by Radikal Forze and an exclusive showcase by them and Slumgods. The epic dance showcases and dance battles are a part of the uber cool Dock Jam on Sunday, November 19.

Please note: Entry starts at 12pm for the Singapore Weekender at The Sassoon Docks and at 10am for those attending the workshops.
