Movie maniacs, if you thought that sitting in the enclosed interiors of a movie hall or wrapped around your blanket were the only ways of watching a movie, think again.
This club for cinema lovers plans to screen movies which we all love, but have possibly never seen on the big screen. Till now, they were in Delhi and have shown movies such as Pulp Fiction, Godfather and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro. They plan to take alternate venue spaces and take movies out of just the boxed theatre – everything from spacious bars, rooftop cafes, and even outdoor venues with beaches to look at. As of now they have the first brewery Barking Deer as part of their list of venues, and will hopefully be adding a Juhu rooftop bar to their list. Movies by the sunset? Sounds glorious to us.
For Valentine’s Day, they are screening ’10 Things I Hate About You’ for the perfect ‘I’m into you, but don’t expect me to get mushy’ kinda flick. You can get tickets here.
