Lower Parel has got a new restaurant in its list by the name of Tappa, and their serve something called the rice-less chicken biryani on the menu. Read more to know more.

Tappa That

A venture has been started by Lite Bite Foods and the menu conceptualised by Chef Gurpreet Singh {of the wonderful Punjab Grill fame}. The cuisine offered at this new Kamala Mills eatery is Indian, and been taken to an innovative new level.

The menu is well divided into vegetarian, seafood, poultry, meat that you will not have to desperately scan through the menu for the meal of your choice.

In the vegetarian, we spotted really interesting small plates such as the ‘sloppy joe’ jackfruit sliders, paneer tikka served with tava asparagus.

They have beautifully combined seafood and North Indian food to make crab tikka, tawa tiger prawns, and masala red snapper banana leaf pockets.

Chicken lovers, try the blackened tangri served with crushed pink pepper, rice less chicken biryani {even we are curious} and more. Lastly, in the meats, the old monk soaked roasted lamb boti and haleem khow suey have caught our eye. There, of course are classic dishes such as the paneer, dal and chicken makhani as well as a variety of breads {raw mango chur chur naan, anyone?} that you can have eat.

So, We're Saying...

Go there for a really good albeit expensive meal, and make a date night of it!
