What's Happening?

There's a reason we love Thai cuisine. It's loaded with fresh ingredients. Has a distinctive and a flavourful taste. And lastly, it's simply comforting. Now, if you're a true Thai cuisine lover, there's somewhere you need to be this weekend.

Musafir Walks in association with The Hobby Tribe is organising an amazing Thai Food walk 'Market to Plate'. Pretty interesting, right? The food walk starts at 8:30 AM where everyone will meet to source fresh ingredients for Thai curry, rice and salad. The meeting point is Crawford Market. The walk will be guided by Chef Samtani, who will help the participants selecting ingredients. Once done with grocery shopping, participants will head towards Nariman Point at the Chef's house where he'll conduct an interactive workshop and will teach everyone styles and techniques of cooking Thai food. This includes segregating, washing, cutting, blanching, cooking and plating.

How’s the venue?

The walk will be in Crawford market, one of the biggest wholesale markets in Mumbai. While the workshop will be conducted in Chef Samtani's house in Nariman Point, approximately half an hour away from the market.
