If you’re a connoisseur of wine, can drink it like water or pair it with literally anything you eat, then what are you waiting for? A visit to the newly opened, The Wine Rack, is all you need to satiate your food and wine needs.

Tell Me More

When we visited The Wine Rack {located inside High Street Phoenix}, we were stunned. Why? Because the first thing we noticed were the beautiful bottles of over 300 wines sourced from all over the world. And right across the wine rack is their bar that’s so beautifully designed, all you will want to do is get your phone out and well, Instagram it. Complete with the best quality liquor, with stunning wall art, this bar is breathtaking. All you will want to do is stare at it…and then drink some…and some more.

Without much debate, we got ourselves some wine {after tasting three amazing flavours}, and started with what we came here for- tasting the delicious menu put together by Sarah Todd {yes, Masterchef Australia}. Now, if you’re expecting some authentic Australian food here, you ain’t getting that. The highlight on the menu here are some specially curated dishes which are Sarah’s take on Indian street food. We tried their Raan Kolapuri, Kulcha Platter, Karari Roti {you can move over khakra after this}, Snapper Ceviche, Spinach, Goats Cheese and Artichoke Pastille and Smoked Pork Chops.

The food here is certainly not the kind you should miss. Every dish we tasted was packed with unique flavours, leaving us with very little room to complain. It helped that the wine pairing was bang on, making it a wholesome experience for us. They also retail wine, so if you want to pick up a fancy merlot, you know who to ask.

So, We're Saying...

If you’re looking for some old-world charm, progressive Indian food and some wine {or a lot of it}, The Wine Rack needs to be your go-to place. In fact, we say you save it for date night, and go back home with some happy, romantic memories {you know, wine and romance go hand in hand}.
