Every kitchen has its own story and as a kid, I loved looking at my mom cooking yummy food for all of us. The same way chef Sharath got inspired by his mom’s cooking. He used to spend hours in the kitchen to understand the spices and traditional South Indian flavours. This is how he got inspired to enter the culinary world. And getting cooked food from the person who has entered Guinness world record for his non-stop 60 hours of cooking marathon. How can it be not tasty?
And the name of the restaurant says it all "Madrasam" and the food here is not too spicy and is served with banana leaves. This restaurant offers a large variety of South Indian dishes. The food is fresh, authentic and the steaming South Indian dishes are also offered at a reasonable rate. Its menu is sure to titillate your taste buds, as it has all popular South Indian dishes.
When you get to eat the typical South Indian food straight from the kitchen of Madrasam it has to be amazing. So Madrasam is a delivery kitchen restaurant and you will find it on Zomato and Swiggy and it is located in Andheri. So I got a chance to try my hands on South Indian food. And it was an awesome experience. From banana chips to payasam you get everything in Madrasam. So I tried their Banana Chips, Chicken 65, Chicken Sukkha in starters. One was fried chicken and other was made with grounded spices. We also tasted their delicious Malabar paratha, Chettinadu Chicken and Thallasery Biryani which was accompanied by buttermilk. To end it on a sweet note we had their podi appams. I loved their packaging it was simple and neat. The food was tasty and the quantity was decent enough.
