There’s A Unique 5-Day Second-Hand Book Sale In The City & We Have All The Deets

For the first time in Mumbai, book clubs and a co-working space are working together to bring second-hand booksellers from different parts of the country for a 5-day book sale between Friday (July 20) – Tuesday (July 24), all under one roof. Unlike other exhibitions where books are sold by weight, here books are curated to suit the tastes of discerning book lovers who are on the lookout for a great deal on difficult-to-find and often out-of-print editions of rare books on Mumbai’s history and geography, among popular international and regional fiction.Often, these copies are as good as new and are sold at the price of a beverage from a coffee shop. And more importantly, it's books. What's more, it's second-hand books, sold by people who love reading and sharing their love for stories. Need we say more?

What Are You Reading Today? In association with Swapbook! And CoWrks are working together to give safe shelter to these booksellers, providing them with an alternate space during the rains. CoWrks is a co-working space in the city that works towards a culture that dwells in collaboration between a community of like-minded individuals. An interesting choice when it comes to planning something this noble.
