A Delightful Twist To Long Drives Ft. Bento Cakes

Strawberry Love Cake Recipe

Nothing's more romantic than spending quality time with your love on a long drive, the wind blowing in your hair and your favourite playlist setting the mood. All you need is a touch of something sweet to complete your entire plan. Well, show your love with a cute little Bento Cake, perfect for a couple! Rich's have quite a few mouth watering recipes for different Bento cakes, but our favourite is the Strawberry Love Cake.

Things You Need: 

50 gms Rich's Strawberry Nufill

90 ml Sugar Syrup

150 gms Rich's Whip Topping Gold

100 gms Vanilla Sponge

Start with the Rich’s Strawberry Nufill and chop it finely. Whip Rich’s Whip Topping Gold and add the Strawberry Nufill to it, mixing them properly. Slice the sponge into 2-3 layers, soak them in sugar syrup to keep them moist. Add some whipped cream and Nufill mixture between the layers with a piping bag. Cover the entire cake in Rich’s whipped cream and smoothen it. Decorate with heart-shaped garnishes and write your message. Viola! You have your showstopper!

Dinner Date With A Delicious Dessert Ft. Bento Cakes

Cookie Red Velvet Cake Recipe

Be it a high-end restaurant or at home, a candle-light dinner with romantic music and your beautiful partner right beside you is the perfect way to end a long day. And no dinner is complete without a cake. A cookie Red Velvet Bento Cake is the perfect way to celebrate the special night. Here’s how you make this delicious dessert:

Things You Need:

200 gms Red Velvet Sponge

180 gms Rich’s Bettercreme

50 gms Chocolate Cookie

60 ml Sugar Syrup

The process is fairly similar to the Strawberry Love cake. The fun part comes in when you take a plastic bag, add the cookies and seal it. Then crush them till they are evenly grainy. Add the crushed cookies to whipped bettercreme and mix it well. Pipe this in between 2-3 layers of the sponge and cover the entire cake in it too. To ace your presentation, place a heart stencil on the middle of the top of the cake and cover the rest of it (except the part with the stencil) with crumbs of the red velvet sponge. Remove the stencil and you’ve got a cute little heart on your cute little Bento cake!

Forgot to plan a kickass surprise for your partner? Well, Pinata Cakes can be your last minute saviour!  Rich's have brought to us the classic recipe for Pinata Cakes - Chocolate. Here's how you give your heart to bae with a Heart Pinata Cake.

Things You Need:

250 gms Rich's Chocolate Bettercreme

150 gms Heart Shaped Chocolate Sponge

90 ml Sugar Syrup

150 gms Chocolate

Heart Shape Mould

Begin with making 2 heart-shaped Heart shaped shells using the mould and freezing them. Whip up some Rich’s Chocolate Bettercreme with a whisk or an eggbeater until it turns creamy. Take your Chocolate Sponge, cut it into layers and soak the bottom one with sugar syrup. Pipe the bettercreme on the sponge, adding the surprise of your partner's favourite chocolate chopped in chunks and spread over the crĂ©me. Layer it with the sponge, crĂ©me and chocolate. Finish it off by hiding the surprise under the other half of the shell. For some extra charm to your presentation, you can add a ribbon around the heart, some Rich's White Nugel and sprinkles. 

Your partner honestly won't wait to hammer the shell and jump in to have this chocolaty dream!

High Tea With A Floral Touch Ft. Flower Cakes

Also, you wouldn't need to get flowers for your Valentine. Why? Well, a Flower Cake gets you the 2 in 1 deal! Rich's has come up with these beautiful flower cake recipes that we are swooning over. Floral looks, fruity dessert, what a combo! Our favourite of the lot is the original flower cake in the colour of love and here's how you make it yourself:

Things You Need:

60 gms Pineapple Fruit Filling

90 ml Sugar Syrup

100 gms Rich's Whip Topping Gold

200 gms Rich's Bettercreme

150 gms Vanilla Sponge

Round Ring Mould

Start easy with whipping up some Rich’s Whip Topping Gold. Next, whip up Rich's Bettercreme too. Cut your sponge into 2-3 layers. Take the round ring mould and place a sponge layer at the bottom, soaking it in some sugar syrup. Add the Rich’s Whip Topping Gold with a pipe and top it with some Pineapple filling. Repeat the process for another layer of sponge and then cover the entire cake with whipped cream. Remove the mould ring and place a plastic sheet around the cake to keep it in place. Start piping beautiful Russian flowers using the soft and creamy Bettercreme. Add some red food colouring to the créme and add a couple of red petals of this cream using a piping bag. To give the cake the feel of a bouquet, dress it up with some craft paper around the plastic ring, and don't forget to add a cute ribbon.

Make A Cake With Bae Ft. Flower Cakes

Three Berry Flower Cake Recipe

Cooking and baking together with bae is a fun way to make memories and a perfect activity for Valentine’s Day too! While you pick your favourite cuisine, we have the right dessert for you! The Three Berry Flower cake is sure to be the highlight of your day. Here’s how you go about it:

Things You Need:

1 Green Food Grade Colouring

1 Red Food Grade Colouring

60 gms Mix Berry Fruit Filling

90 ml Sugar Syrup

100 gms Rich's Whip Topping Gold

200 gms Rich's Bettercreme

150 gms Vanilla Sponge

Similar to the Flower cake recipe shared above, you follow the steps by replacing the Pineapple filling with the Mix Berry one. After finishing all your layers and covering the cake in whipped cream, mix some bettercreme with green and red food colouring to create petals and leaves. Pipe Russian Flowers using the red bettercreme and green flourishings on the side using green créme. Done! All you gotta do now is spend some quality time with your partner enjoying the delish cake!
