Try Waffles With Rabdi, Rose Syrup & Gulab Jamun At This New Powai Joint

The Waffle Tree In Powai is a new eatery that served up savoury waffles and they have some of the most bizarre waffles on their menu.

It’s a cute little place with wall art, quotes on waffles and more. The seating area is limited, however it can get crowded in the evenings. It’s situated right opposite Love and Cheesecake.

They do some wacky savoury waffles and waffle sliders here. For the savoury waffles, check out the peppy paneer {INR 150}, and the hot and herby one {INR 120} topped with loads of cheddar cheese. These are perfect for a quick bite. However, one thing that we could get from the savoury ones is that they were a tad bit too cheesy.

They also do good dessert waffles, and we recommend them more. They have a unique Shahi Tukda waffle {INR 150} which is basically a mix of rabdi, rose syrup, gulab jamun and pistachio crumbs. The taste is surprisingly nothing unexpected – as we could taste the gulab jamun well. Apart from this, they have churros waffle, brownie waffle and even a cookie and cream waffle {yummmm}.

Apart from this, they have regular coolers, salads and they also do salads on waffle {that is a waffle basket}.

Warm, crispy waffle is the most comforting dessert and pulls us out of the dreary day we’ve had. The whiff of sweet smelling Nutella waffle is enough to pick up the day. However, experiment a bit and check out the outrageous shahi tukda waffle. Because why not?
