What Makes It Awesome

Did you hear? Pune has now become home to its very own Goan and Portuguese restaurant - Sara Soda. Located at Budhrani Boulevard on NIBM-Undri Road, this place will remind you of the charming lanes of Panjim, with vibrant colour palette and quirky murals running along the walls and the stairs.

The food menu boasts of an array of delectable and palatable delicacies ranging from chicken cafreal to the surreal surmai in recheado masala and prawns caldinho. We particularly loved the veg balchao roll for INR 215; a mouth-watering dish of mixed veggies tossed in balchao spices and cheese served in a roasted papad cone.

Love everything meaty and juicy? Try the nom nom lamb for INR 355. Lamb pieces tossed in onions, burnt garlic and ginger, mixed with soy and oyster sauce, this one's an absolute delight for the taste buds. Last but never the least, the shack-style beef chilly with chef's special Goan spices is hard to miss.

For desserts, we recommend either you try the sizzling Goan bebinka with ice cream or the carrots stuffed gulab jamun with lemongrass rabdi, both for INR 200!

Anything Else?

Drinks at Sara Soda are to kill for. The coconut lime cilantro cooler with white rum and ginger ale for INR 325 is enough to keep you tipsy happy through the night. If exotic is what you need, try the fishbowl cocktail for INR 450. It's a deadly concoction of vodka, Sambuca, gin, white rum, tequila topped with either red wine or red bull.
