What Makes It Awesome?
Avanti has recently changed management and with that, its collection too. You’ll find trendy printed short kurtas ideal for casual Fridays, embroidered ones that would look pretty on palazzos and leggings; and anarkalis that you could wear as it is or use as a jacket on a crop top and jeans.
The store gets points for being super organised. To be honest, we love seeing clothes neatly displayed. It just makes the whole shopping experience smoother, no? All the kurtas are sourced from Jaipur. So you can expect quality prints and designs. There are also a few Lucknowi kurtas coming in.
On the rack, we found a maroon printed tunic top (INR 799), which would look perfect on jeans or a short skirt. A red kurta with a full embroidered front (INR 1299) is on our wish list. There are also ethnic long jackets you could wear on a kurta or on western casuals and make your outfit fit for #ootd. We spotted a few ethnic dresses too, which are super trendy to wear to work these days.
On the mezzanine floor, you’ll find a lot of jhumkas and a few necklaces fit for the wedding season. We’d love to wear them everyday too, but the price range has other plans. Most jhumkas are priced at INR 1999 and higher.
What Could Be Better?
We wish the store also offered more bottoms instead of the regular leggings and palazzos you can get anywhere, in hundreds of colours.

Buy workwear or just visit the store to shop for earrings. They have a lot of them in blue and silver.
