The store is mostly famous for its collection of in-house mill sarees. But lately, the store is gathering fame for offering sarees with pop-culture references. The store has sarees from famous Hindi and Marathi serials. You'll also come across sarees from movies too.
Moolchand Mills has two stores in the same vicinity. One, is a very basic store and is always crowded. The other, is a sophisticated showroom offering sarees at a higher price range, among kurtas and sherwani for men.
At both the stores, we found a large collection of sarees inspired from Marathi serials, starting at INR 600 only. But what really caught our eye, was their collection of Baahubali sarees. Inspired from the two powerful female characters of Sivagami and Devsena, Moolchand mills has recreated the character’s essence in these sarees. We spotted a green saree that also had the fictional kingdom’s sigil embroidered on it. These Bahubali sarees were also priced at INR 600.
