A Pune-based self-taught artist, Mankar has a very vivid career path. Starting out as an engineer, she's now a full-time nutritionist and part-time artist. She takes orders via her Instagram account. She was always interested in art, but initially would create these products for fun. After publicly posting a picture, she asked who'd buy it and then, there was no turning back.
Since her first sale, Mankar has been exploring various options of merchandise. She is best known for her acrylic hand-painted shoes. You can either get a pair personalised or choose a design from your favourite fandom. Mankar mostly pains on canvas shoes, which you can either ship or let her buy them for you. We also love her quirky wallets too, available in a number of prints. She'll paint you a quote of your choice, a caricature or a picture you love or you can let her take the reigns.
Apart from shoes and wallets, you can customise books, bottles, coasters, laptop covers, t-shirts and almost anything. Mankar also makes custom wedding cards, caricatures of the bride and groom and other prints.
The price depends on the medium you choose for printing (hand or digital). For hand painted merchandise, the prices start at INR 3000 and vary as per the design and material. Digital prints are cheaper but cannot be printed on shoes. You can also get a design made from her and get it printed later on.
