What Did I Like?

Who said desserts have to be sugary all the time? At Meringue - Desserts & Confections, it's all about quirky flavours and eccentric presentations. Meringue is the brainchild of Tanya Rajnish, an alumna of Le Cordon Bleu, Sydney and former pastry chef at Le Plaisir in Deccan.

Currently, the bakery operates out of a centralised kitchen on Dastur Meher Road in Camp and only accepts takeaway and delivery orders. But this doesn't stop anyone to get hold of their outlandishly mouthwatering desserts that include bespoke French macarons, cupcakes and customised cakes.

We particularly loved their macarons that are available in interesting flavours of chai, coffee, cola, bubblegum, blueberry cheesecake, rose, and pink lemonade. These macarons are priced at INR 40 each and are available in boxes of 6 and 12. What's more? Tanya specialises in baking customised macarons too, which can only mean colourful, yummy macarons that look like Facebook emotions and more.

As for the cupcakes, we highly recommend you try flavours such as Snickers, red velvet {which is also a bestseller}, paan masala and coconut.

Apart from this, the bakery is doing gorgeous customised cakes. To be precise, their exclusive range of food cakes look extremely neat and real. Our eyes are fixed on those stunning burger and pizza cakes that can turn anyone into a sweet-tooth.

We hear Meringue is soon going to launch vegan cupcakes, eggless macarons and something wonderful known as the unicorn brownies. Can't wait!
