I've always seen Nitin's Mummy's Homely Food while going towards Lonavla and I've always wanted to wait and have their food. The name itself is quite interesting. So this time while heading back towards Pune I made sure I stopped here for lunch.
I love the typical dhaba style ambience. The seating, especially on the top, gives you a different feel. Sitting on the cots and having your food is fun.
The food as the name suggests has a homely taste to it. We ordered the chicken thali. And it is quite filling. They serve dry chicken and the curry separately. They also include the very famous tambda rassa. You will also find sukhat in your thali (dried fish). It is not something I am fond of but my friend relished it. Overall a good homely place.
