Notebooks with designed fabric covers. Sounds interesting? I am a home-based notebook designer. My expertise lies in creating a wide range of designed fabric notebooks. Starting from designing to printing I do everything on my own. My inspiration for making these notebooks comes from Islamic Art. I visited Delhi as part of my college trip, and visited many monuments there. That’s where I got inspired from and started designing these notebooks in such a way. It started as my final year college project and soon after that I started getting orders for these notebooks as everybody found it really interesting and unique to have fabric covered notebooks. I usually source my raw material from Fashion Street in Chennai. First, I design everything on paper then I get it printed on fabric. After printing, I select the type paper I want in these notebooks and then go to the book binder to get them binded as required. Bio I have graduated from a Visual Arts College in Chennai where I took designing as my specialization. In my final year, I designed fabric covered notebooks as my project which inspired me to start my business. I expect to make good sales and have a global reach.
